Yumi Y.

Please excuse me, I’m a beginner at English🥲 ❤︎Films…Studio Ghibli (Especially Nausicaä, Princess Mononoke, Castle in the Sky) ❤︎Musicals…The Gratest Showman, Les Misérables, JCS ❤︎Anime…Fullmetal Alchemist, Attack on Titan,Gintama ❤︎Cycling…Just chill rides on a city bike🚲 ❤︎Novels…Some japanese modern literatures I love Japanese culture, especially the beauty of language. (Even for native speakers, Japanese can be really tricky!) I enjoy thinking about things like: “Why is this word expressed this way?” “What does this place name mean?” “Why does this kanji have such a shape?” If you’re interested in these kinds of topics, I’d love to try explaining them in English… even if it’s a bit of a challenge for me! 😂 Thank you for reading all the way through! If you’d like to send me an email to request a stay, please tell me what your name means in your language and culture. I’d love to learn about it. Also, I studied the Japanese tea ceremony in high school, so I can prepare matcha for you. If you’re not a fan of bitterness, don’t worry—I can mix it with milk to make it gentler! 😆🥛
