From Andaman Islands to Thailand ?
Hey guys!
My name is Max, I'm traveling from France to South East Asia without taking a plane. After 10 months, I've made it to India and I was going to continue to Myanmar until they closed the border just a few weeks ago...
So I'm looking into other options. One of them would be to take a ferry from Kolkata to the Andaman islands. And from there find or hitch a boat/yacht/cargo going to Thailand.
Does anyone know if it is possible ? Can you actually leave India from Andaman, getting an exit stamp ? And get an entry stamp at a port in Thailand ?
Any information would mean so much! It will help me continue my adventure :) I want to prove that it's still possible covering long distances without flying!
If anyone living there, especially in Port Blair, can help me, and wouldn't mind asking around, I'd be eternally grateful and will bring you a gift when I get to Andaman Islands :)
