Hi Couchsurfers,

We're after a pet savvy, responsible, friendly house sitter for around a week and a half over the Christmas period 2013 - we are also happy for you to couch surf with us for a few days before and/or after if you need :).

What we want from you - Light pet care duties for our Labrador Missy, our cat Willy and our 7 chickens; possibly watering the plants if needed; putting out the bins - it's a pretty easy gig! We do require you to be home at least some of the time each day so the pets don't get lonely, and to stay every night. If you're going to be out all day every day then this is probably not for you.

In return you'll get free accommodation in a 3 bedroom house on a quarter acre block, veges from the vege garden, eggs from the chickens and friendly pets to hang out with. We are near to public transport (10mins to the train station), shops, restaurants and there is a huge park across the road. There is even a bush walk with kangaroos, kookaburras and plenty of trees just down the road.
