I've recently been offered a job and will be moving to Banská Bystrica. I'm just wondering what life is like in Banská Bystrica.

What activities, if any, are available to do in Banská Bystrica or the surrounding towns/cities?

Is there a nightlife scene? Any local sports clubs? etc.
