Montane grasslands

Hi! I am very curious to see blooming montane grasslands in alps. Maybe crocus fields... Do you know which is the best time and place to see it? I heard there are botanical trails in Ciampac, and Buffare, do you know the best time to see them blooming?

Hi! Unfortunately I'm not an expert, I can only guess that that time will come soon (may- june, perhaps?), and that it will last almost almost the whole summer (?), but, for sure, it depends on the highness...

The best period for crocus here in Trentino is May,when snow is going away (depends on highness and on quantity of snow, better the end of may). If you want I could show it you.

Don't you think if I come there around 29-30 May it could be too late for crocuses? If you could show those places it would be awesome!

if you're interesting for flowers visit the botanical gardens of trautmannsdorf near meran!! best in april :)
