This creates a sense of "brother/sisterhood" amoung members of the Emergency Services. This site was created to unite Emergency Responders from around the world who enjoy travelling.

fire department t-shirts

hey guys!

i'm a paramedic and veterinary medicine student from Poland. i got a good friend, he's an amazing firefighter and he collects fire department t-shirts from all over the world. i already got him one from Hawaii, i was wondering if any of you could help me out ;) just not the FDNY, you can get this one everywhere (sorry, FDNY guys ;) )

1st responders looking for host

hello wonderful world of couchsurfing :) looking for host for 3 surfers, oslo norway on aug4th and copenhegan denmark aug 5th. its traveling time again. this time i am bringing two couch surfing newbies that i know from the states. we did have a host the other night and they loved their first experience. we will be traveling to your beautiful city very shortly during the listed dates. we will be traveling to multiple destinations so unfortunately our time might be short, but we know this is not just a free place to stay. we are hoping to meet new and exciting people with good conversation and a fun time. we are into learning new cultures and history, along with the occasional spirits of nightlife. if you could be so kind to give us a chance and host us, it would be much appreciated and you wont regret it. thank you talk to you soon. below are link to my two mates CS profile.

reciprocity of your diploma

Hosting Request

Hi all

I am visiting the US in December/January. I arrive in LA on the morning of November 30th. Will spend a night or two around LA before heading to San Francisco for the Weekend. I will then spend a couple of weeks in CA before heading over to the East Coast. Would love to catch up with any serving or retired Police during my travels. I retired from the Police Department after 20 years Most time spent as a Criminal Investigator. I am a little flexable with my itinerary. Any one interest in Catching up for coffee/rinks and hosting if possable I would love to hear from you.

Qualifications to work as a paramedic in Victoria, Australia?

Hello everyone! I and my boyfriend are thinking about moving to Melbourne and I'm trying to find out what I need to be able to work as a paramedic there. Currently I'm working in the ambulance here in Gothenburg, Sweden. I have a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and I'm about to start getting my one year master as a specialist nurse in ICU/anesthesia. I also got two years of experience with working as a nurse in Swedish and Norwegian hospitals. I have the competence to put in iv-lines, administer medications and apply LMA's. After getting my specialist exam in anesthesia I will also have the competence to intubate and put someone under anesthesia both in operation theaters and prehospital. So anyone working in Oz knowing if I'm qualified?

Thought I would help put a lil spice into the group here. Stumbled upon this group on accident, but really cool. I'm a EMT in the states but currently in Buenos Aires, Argentina working with the Red Cross. I'm getting my Wilderness EMT upgrade in Patagonia in a few months, as well as working on my PADI Rescue Diver License. The first call got me hooked and now I am addicted to the rush of it all. ja I am sure some of you are the same. Anybody doing any work outside of your country in this field?
