You can have a picnic almost everywhere in the mountains, and you will be looking at other mountains. I don't know which exact picture you have in mind, because I don't remember much of the film "The sound of Music", but I would think that if you go to the "Berner Oberland" region you would probably find exactly what you want. Even here in my area there are mountain meadows where you can hike and sit down and have a picnic. Although in the summer there will be cows in many places, and you cannot sit down on a meadow where there are cows, because it is too dangerous. But there are picnic places everywhere, often with a barbecue grill if you want to grill something.

Would you mind to tell me what public transportation's option I have to get there from Paris, and where to stay? I don't think I'm going to hike since I won't stay long in Switzerland. I just plan to enjoy the view and have fondue experience, that'd make me happy enough.

Where to stay always depends on your budget and finding a host. There is a beautiful hut about an hour and a half walk from the mountain station of Isenfluh: https://www.isenfluh.ch/english/ . There is also a restaurant right there at the mountain station for fondue if you don't want to walk to the Lobhorn Hut. In any case a memorable spot. Public transport by trains, buses and cable cars.
