Gorno-Altaysk, Altai Republic, Russia

Hello,

I am travelling to Altai in few weeks and with friends we have camping stoves for cooking in mountains. We need to buy gas canisters (bottles) with screw like this one https://www.sportmaster.ru/product/10111207/

There should be sportmaster shop in Gorno Altaysk, but I did only find they have these canisters for sure in Moscow (maybe because my Russian is bad). Any chance someone know if I can buy these in Gorno Altaysk as well?

Hey guys, a new House for Everyone (The Traveller's Hut) shall open on June 1st in Chemal as part of the backpackers'-hitchhikers' Plan. The House will be working until July 1st.

The stay in the House is FREE of charge but the donations to cover electricity and water bills are welcome.

Alcohol is not allowed on the premises as Everyone is welcome and it's a proper way to keep things straight.

Hope to discover a divine nature, meet new friends and organize hikes around Altay.

the House for Everyone concept extends back over 10 years and only for the past two years they were opened in: Indonesia, Kyrghyzstan, Armenia, Ukraine, Georgia, Belorussia, Nepal, Russia, Germany etc. This year will see Houses in Vladivostok, Kamchatka, Astrakhan, Tbilisi apart from Alay.
