Google bohusleden from angered...
Just to complement this comment, here's the official website. There's a map with signs for wind-shelters, view-points, etc for each stage of the route from Blåvättnerna to Strömstad

Delsjön is great! www.lessonslearnedabroad.com/blog/2016/3/23/a-day-trip-to-delsjn-off-the-beaten-path-in-western-sweden
Slätta Damm is also nice!
((Sorry, posted in the wrong place first and can't seem to delete this comment))
Here's a map of Delsjön. https://www.omaps.net/?id=50333
You can also contact friluftsfrämjandet for information on hiking paths or for organized hikes / paddling and more. http://friluftsframjandet.se/regioner/vast/lokalavdelningar/centrala-goteborg/
I highly recommend Vättlefjäll and Vättlefjällsleden, starting at Jennylund in Ale. The train from Gothenburg central station to Bohus station takes 13 mins, then take bus 401 to Jennylund (4 mins). For exact times you can check www.vasttrafik.se.
I can also recommend going through the botanical gardens (it's in the city) and further into Änggårdsbergen. Beautiful in summer.
very short and easy in the city: Lookout top Kilerspark Utsiktsplats Keillers Park
