There are buses from/to Grenoble train and bus station. Just have a look at their website : http://www.grenoble-airport.com/acces/navettes

You can take a bus "Transisere" at the bus station : http://www.transisere.fr But I'm not sure if there are lots of departures /day
Can you please give more details on that one? Like the departure and arrival station, because I'm unable to find it? Do you know how much does it cost? I have friends flyig over to Grenoble airport and the prices for the actibus are... unacceptable let's say ;)
The departure is from Grenoble's "Gare routière" (bus station) and the stop is at "Le Pailler", but then you need another 30min walking to reach the "Aéroport Grenoble Saint Geoirs". And that would cost 6€. The only other bus is the Actibus I think, which is expensive indeed.
Otherwise you can try carpooling : https://www.blablacar.fr/ The destination city is Saint Etienne de Saint Geoirs, but the exact location is Aéroport de Grenoble-Isère. And that would be like 4€.
