Hi Lyric Li, it is rather difficult to find a traditional market in Bodrum, not anymore. They are all touristic if not super market like. But if you consider to have a daily visit to Didim which is right at the other side of the bay to the North facing Bodrum, you may have a chance to see one. Every Wednesday and Saturday there is a big local market -a mobile bazaar- established in Didim. You can meet peasants offering their village products, mostly fruits and vegetables in especially Saturday bazaar. You can take a minibus from Bodrum to Didim and the Saturday bazaar of Didim is located right near the omnibus station -otogar-. It takes around one hour to drive from Bodrum. Worth to visit. By the way, I also live next to the bazaar area. Good luck! Celil
If you're interested in second-hand clothes and other items, you can also check out the flea markets in Yalikavak (Saturday) and Bitez (Sunday)...?
Tomorrow’s the market in Turgutreis... you can find anything and any people
