Hi everyone, going to South África on September and would love company to drive to Kruger ;)

Mapungubwe trip together

Archeology, landscapes, animals, tripoint border, baobabs! I'm looking for travel buddies for a trip to Mapungubwe National Park. Let's plan together. I'm available any day between April 5 and 12. The trip would take 2-3 days with 1 [or 2] overnight stays. Start from Joburg or Pretoria. We'd share expenses.

  • UNESCO World Heritage Site!

  • remains of the Kingdom of Mapungubwe, in its heydays the largest in Africa, pre-dated the better-known Great Zimbabwe.

  • scenic surroundings, including baobabs.

  • game viewing. This park is much less visited than Kruger and other ones, meaning that it won't be crowded, might be even empty. Elephants, giraffes, zebras, leopards, etc, just for us.

  • Confluence Point viewpoint; a convergence at tripoint border: South Africa, Botswana, Zimbabwe.

  • a lesser known but special corner of South Africa.

The plan is open and we would discuss details together. Either two days or three days, just the Park or extra stops, let's plan it.
