Hi friends, dressing in layers works well because Alaska can get very warm but also rainy, windy and cold in the proximity of the ocean. Warm jacket, hats and gloves for the boat. Your lovely beautiful lady clothes for dinner in the cruise, I am sure they are going to be heads turning, and a jacket or two for the gentleman with nice slacks, tie will be optional. While in Anchorage or any Alaska port dressing is very casual, comfortable shoes, hats to protect you from the sun, as well as sun glasses and sun blockers!
