What is a 'curious' place for you? Judging by a spanish 'false friend' word; interesting, intriguing? :P Another important question is, when are you guys coming; now, spring or summer? And it's absolutely great, you guys are coming for two weeks! Are you travelling with a car?

• Škocjanske caves instead of Postojna cave

• Predjama castle

• Rakov Škocjan (if the weather permits, might be flooded. If it's flooded, check out Cerknica lake and floodplanes near Planina)

• Zelenci and Planica (near Kranjska gora)

• Bohinj for a more authentic experience than Bled (also check out Vogel)

• Piran

• Štanjel

• Soča valley, Kobarid (WW I museum and mausoleum)

• Velika Planina

• Škofja Loka

• Franja Partisan Hospital

• Otočec castle

• Logarska valley

• Maribor (old city with waterfront - Lent) and Ptuj (old city and castle)

• etc.

There are more interesting things and places to see, but this should cover you for at least one whole week (without Ljubljana and its surroundings).
