transportation from tokyo to kyoto, and how to move around kyoto
my boyfriend and I are going to kyoto from 14th- 18th of january . we need some guidance we are arriving in tokyo in narita airport 15:30 14th of january and want to go that same day to kyoto. how can we get to kyoto without buying the JR bullet train ticket, we thought about taking a bus by night, but maybe there is some a more convenient way to do it...could you help us? and afterwards how to move arround kyoto (do we have to buy a pass or something?) and also we are gonna be 4 days in kyoto and we are thinking on taking one of those and stay in Osaka, is i worth it? also we'd love to be hosted or to share with some locals. sorry for so many questions XP, hopefully u can guide us =)
