You take the A train to 34st then you join the path train to journal square. Cabs will be very expensive. You could try Uber but it be around $80 . But the A train will be less than $10. If you reach 34 penn station ask for the part train
Hi Henda,
Not sure if this is THE best option, but I would take subway to World Trade Center (via the A line) and then hop on a PATH train, which will take you directly to Journal Square. You can get there in about an hour taking public transit. :)
Hope this helps!
Actually Kawsu is right, you don't need to go all the way to WTC..you can take the PATH from penn station.
Subway to 34th station(Penn station) then you can choose appropriate train to New Jersey. What city in NJ
It’s the path train. There only one train option called path train. You can either take it from 34th herald square or World Trade Center
You can get to Journal Square using the Path train at World Trade Center, or 33rd Street. It can vary depending on what time of day you arrive. The best thing to do is use the free WiFi at the airport and Google map it selecting the train icon.
Hi Henda, do you need to go to Jersey City, NJ? The "Journal Square" I know, is a train stop in Jersey City. If that's correct, you need to take an Airtrain from JFK to Jamaica station and then take a LIRR train from there (the transfer is right beside the Airtrain station, immediately on the left after the turnstiles). You need to go to New York Penn Station. From there, walk toward the PATH train stop on 33rd street (it's just a few minutes walk) and take a train to Journal Square, Jersey City. There you are! Good luck with your trip!
