It depends what you like to do. Personally, I'm not into bars, clubs, shopping, noise, so I couldn't talk about those aspects of Cabo - I prefer the quieter side of life.
Saturday Organic Market in San Jose is really nice - though may be finished now for the season.
My favourite place is near Santiago, about an hour north of San Jose - head inland and there are hot springs, a nice river, canyons, waterfalls, swimming holes. El Chorro is my preferred spot, but Santa Rita is good too, as well as Canon de la Zorra.
Good beaches are Palmilla, Las Viudas, Santa Maria. Some may have construction happening close by though.
If you like noise and busyness, you'll find plenty in the two cities. If you want something a bit more tranquilo, head north from either one.
Also, the Pacific side is quite a bit cooler, temperature-wise.
Oh, and Tacos Rossy in San Jose for fish tacos. :-)

Hay atractivos naturales en cuanto a senderismo y sitios de ecoturismo que es probable con 3 o 4 días sería suficiente.
