Travelling through Lille, staying here for a few days.
Hey all, I've arrived at Lille just the other day. I'm backpacking my way from London to Rome.
I'm trying to get a very basic understanding of French while I'm here, then will travel to Paris.
Does anyone have a recommendation for something (free) to do in the city? And more importantly, is anyone interested in meeting up? It's rare that I get to talk since I'm Irish and don't speak French, so I'd be glad of a meetup. Maybe you have some French to teach me, like how to ask for a large coffee.
