Hi Veronika, As you're posting this request on CSing, it would have been better to ask if anyone can accommodate you for that period without mentioning payment in your request. CSing operates on a non-payment basis, you must have heard about this when you joined, so people aren't used to getting this kind of request... Can't the uni help you? As they offered you the place...most colleges have notice boards: if I were you, I'd put up a notice in the college notice board for King's college. You can request the admin to help you with this; just tell them honestly that you're struggling to find accommodation, but you'd appreciate it if they could help you by putting up a notice for you on one of the college notice boards....in such a big college, they must have more than one. This is a tough one due to the short duration. I would say airbnb - if you were staying longer (maybe 3 weeks+) you might be able to negotiate a lower fare, but with 2 weeks unlikely. I'm sure you already considered other shall I say subpar options in this case e.g. hostels (shared bathrooms! + you want a goo dnights sleep), hotels (expensive for 2 weeks...) CS hopping between 1-2 residences, student accom (like airbnb they probably won't be interested in something short term like 2 weeks unless its holiday season which i can see for you is not). Tough one really - would have thought these hospitals have some temp accom you can stay at but apparently not. If you do go down the airbnb route which will be costly no doubt then consider residences a bit further south away from the immediate KCH area. Best of luck..
