If you don't have Eurail Pass or similar the train is quite expensive. Try flixbus which is going to be a big competitor of public trains on the Munich - Zurich/Luzern route.
Download the app "SBB mobile". In this app are all trains from switzerland. Also the privat ones.
Hello. If you arrive on a Friday or Sunday, there's a direct bus to Zurich, called "Allgaeu Airport Express". From there you can change to SBB. http://www.allgaeu-airport-express.de/index.php?plink=fahrplaene&lg=uk&lg=uk
With Flixbus (www.flixbus.de) you have to change in Munich to go to Zurich. If you take the bus from the inner city (Memmingen ZOB), there's every night at 10 pm a direct bus, else you have to change in Meersburg.
