Greetings people! I will be moving to Magdeburg soon and I wanted to ask you if you can suggest me any cheap hostels!?

I will be moving there at 16th of this month, I'm already searching for a room for rent so If you can place Ur offers or if you have any suggestions I would be really greateful for your will to help. As for the beginning If I don't manage to find a flat till then, I will need a place to sleep for the first few days till I find something. If you are unable to help me in any of the ways above then I would truly appreciate If you could at least meet me and show me around the city and give me advices.

Hi Veton, I'm not in town next week, but I know 2 rooms in 2 different shared flats that will be free from 1. March on. On wg-gesucht.de you can find all offers- usually for unfurnished rooms in shared flats, but sometimes they're furnished. If you're interested in one of the two rooms, please contact me =).

Hi Maike! I really like the offer but the problem is I need to settle down asap from the date of my arrival because my work contract has already started since 3'd of January and they have already tolerated me these 2 weeks of missing. However, I highly appreciate your will to help and yes, I realized that those unfurnished ones are really cheap, I'm thinking of taking an Airbed with me and rent one of those as for the beginning :P

That's a good idea, I also did this in the beginning. It's not so difficult to find second-hand furniture for little money or sometimes even for free (for example here: https://www.facebook.com/groups/517920071592503/)

Hey,

Just check at AirBnB you might find some listings there (they can be cheaper ) else check for Youth hostel Magdeburg. Its quiet close to City Centre as well as main train station.

Hi Sanchit! Thnx for your will to help. I tried immobilienscout24 till now I've send a couple of emails and didn't get any replies for days. It's strange, I hope this Room/Flat hunting will get easier once I'm there. Oh and... thnx for the tip about the hostel. I will use it in case of emergency.
