Gallery Night tonight. I have a list of things to do in Milwaukee in my profile. Mostly summer but I can update it.
Federico - Welcome to MKE. What sort of things are you into?
Art : Definitely check out the MAM (Milwaukee Art Museum) and even in winter the coastline and its icy beaches. Books, readings and poetry, try Woodland Pattern Bookcenter - an an artistic hub in the city. Nature : A short distance from downtown / east-side area, if you go north, you will find the wonderful Doctor's Park and also the Schlitz Audobon Nature Center - in winter you will see much beauty from Milwaukee's trees, birds, and *ocean (Lake Michigan). Music: If you like independent bands, rock and electronic, hip-hop etc., check out a few clubs in Riverwest or Bay View. Try Company Brewing, High Dive, Quarters, Cactus Club - quite a diversity represented there. For dancing, perhaps check out Mad Planet. If you like jazz, go to Jazz Estate, Caroline's, or Gibraltar. Food / drinks : Check out 2nd St. in Walker's point - Movida, Meraki, Morel, Crazy Water, All Purpose are some of my favorites. In Bay View, check out Odd Duck, Lazy Susan, and Good Kind. In Shorewood, for beer, you must check out Draft & Vessel.
All best,
Ice skate at Red Arrow. Art Museum, Public Museum, Domes, Zoo all have free days once a month. Lakefront Brewery tour. Harley Davidson Museum. Comedy Sportz. Admirals Hockey Game, Milwaukee Wave Arena Soccer/Futbol Game, Bucks game, Brewcity Brewsters Roller Derby. Movie at Oriental or Downer Theater. Try a Brat! If you can get out of the city, Lake Geneva Winterfest is Jan 31-Feb 4th (including Snow Sculpting Competition). Bienvenido!!!
