Tongariro Crossing - hiking mate!

Hi there!

I would love to do the tongariro crossing on friday (february 28th) but it would be amazing to have a second car to be able to park one at the beginning and one at the end ;)

Is someone else planning on going there on Friday?

What traditional (creative) company/business from NewZealand do you value, love or are you proud of?

Hey all! :)

So here is quite a different question than usually! At the moment, I am working on a project for my studies (International Communication and Media), in which we are trying to immerse ourselves into the New Zealand creative Industry.

We are trying to discover the hidden treasures from the traditional creative companies in New Zealand that have potential to grow way bigger and successful by creating a concept for a more innovative product or service.

I am researching and reading a lot, but as an experienced couchsurfer, I know that the most valuable sources are the insiders themselves. One day I really hope to physically go to New Zealand and experience the country and its culture myself. But for now, I hope to find some people who'd be willing to share their values and insights via this digital route..!

I know it might sound a bit vague, so don't hesitate to ask for better explenation. -Or just throw some stuff I can read about!! I'd love to get some insights about your economy's culture :)
