Although it is the hub of activity, nightlife and touristy attractions, the City of Vancouver is a small part of the community of Greater Vancouver. There is a lot to see and do nearby and many great people living outside the city itself.

This group is for surfers and hosts in the nearby communities of Burnaby, New Westminster, Coquitlam, Port Moody, Belcarra, Anmore (defined for want of a better way to limit the scope as places that are not across a bridge from the city itself). The goals of the group are to both increase the awareness of travelers who may not know how close-by these areas are to Vancouver and provide a connection for couchsurfers and hosts in these communities.

Travel Partners

I am planning a 6-days travel by private car from Vancouver to Calgary ,Banff and from there to Jasper and finally to Golden in the BBC and back to Vancouver.
