Well, Noordwijk isn't that big and calling it a city is a bit much, it's more like a village.

There is the ESA which has a open day, but all tickets are gone. :-( There is a waitinglist, so if you really like Space Exploration you could try: https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/esa-estec-open-day-2017-tickets-35455421119

Closest city would be Leiden, which does have free tours.

haha, yes I'd agree. there's the beach, dunes, etc. and probably a little beach tent where you get a good cappuccino, but if you want to explore a nice little city with old buildings and canals etc. I'd go and check out Leiden (which is really close to Noordwijk) or for a bigger city make a visit to The Hague.
