I'd be interested. I wish CS would be better about surfacing these threads. I suppose there are bunch more people who would be interested who just haven't seen this.

Would be nice to meet other local hosts. Please pick a date, time and place (any brewhouse, distillery probable good enough).

I think the subscription structure just makes it difficult unfortunately, and does not incentivize hosts. I for example, subscribes to try to find a place while traveling. But it wasn't helpful because there aren't a ton of active hosts, and now that my travels are ending, I do not want to pay a subscription to host :( Would be interested in a local meetup. There is also a "Burner" community that has monthly meet ups locally. You can find them on Facebook under "Pittsburners"

CS does incentivize those who host. Every time someone hosts, CS will add 3 months to your verification and active profile (up to a year). So if you host 4 people every year, your account will remain active without paying into a subscription up to a year from date of the last person you hosted.
