Looking for a place to rent
Hey everybody in Pontianak,
Let me introduce myself, I am Tim from the Netherlands and I'll be coming to Pontianak for 3 three months (check my profile for more info about me personally). I will be doing a research for my master thesis in the area nearby so I'm looking for place to stay. However, I cannot find anything yet, no websites or any contact details.
Does anyone know where I can find this? Ideally it would be an apartment or studio with a kitchen and bathroom. It can be a student complex, shared house or just by myself but I like to live together with some people form my age (to hang out with and stuff). I don't know if the University of Pontianak has any student housing available. So if you know anything that would be of great help! Also.. I'm up for a meet-up sometime around the end of January when I arrive. Maybe someone can show me around, and we can be friends :). I also hope to learn Indonesian so maybe we can have a go at that too. Hope to see some of you in Pontianak and thank you already for your help. Really looking forward to coming to Indonesia again!
