Hi Laely, I actually went to the south part of Lombok (Kuta) and stayed there for about 6 days. It was nice but I got a lot of advice not to camp, especially alone they worry about safety (and of course i listened to their advices).

I am currently in the east part of Lombok for several days and will head to west in few days, I will definitely follow your advice guys. Just check map and it seems a really nice place for camping for a night. But if I may ask further question, do we have to pay for camping?

In Kondo you pay 5 thousand for entrance fee. Try to go at weekend so that you don't pay for the whole boat. Kondo has few visitors at weekdays which may mean you have to hire a boat that cost around 500k. I am not familiar to the price in Gili Sudak (sorry I meant Sudak instead of Nanggu in my earlier comment) If you plan to visit Sembalun and camp there, I can give you a place to set up your tent and show you how to get there. In Sembalun, you can walk around sawah, visit trad village, Kebun bambu, bukit Selong, bukit Pergasingan, waterfalls etc. Just let me know if you decide so.
