Because I don't have car. And also, do you think we can see enough in one day or it's better to stay 2 days? Thanks! :D

I think two days would be better. The public transport is adequate and will take you most places, but it is not as convenient as Europe's systems.

Bonjour Majorie! Definitely 2 days if you plan to take public transportation. Buses do not run that often especially on the weekends. A day pass to use most city buses and trolleys costs $5 for unlimited use. Location is important if you don’t have a car. Uberpool and Lyft Line can get you places quickly and usually economically. You can also rent bikes and scooters scattered throughout the city for a fun way of exploring San Diego. Use the Lime or Bird app.

Public transport is good for certain place and on the weekend runs pretty infrequently. If you can find other options, I would use them.

In general the Coaster is good to go longer distances, the trolley is good if you're staying downtown or heading south, and the bus system isn't the easiest but it fills in the gaps. You either need to be a great planner or very patient to use them on the weekend.

Bonjour Majorie! The Coaster is good to go longer distances along the coast, the trolley is good if you're staying in downtown or heading south, and the bus system isn't the easiest but you can get around. Takes up a lot of time though. Best to make friends with someone who has a car lol
