Manila is uneventful. It is safe. The trouble is in the south, in Mindanao which is about 920 miles from Manila.

If you're asking whether there's likely to be some kind of terrorist incident in Manila, nobody here can answer that one for you. Terror attacks, by their very nature, occur where and when you least expect them. You could try asking ISIS or Abu Sayyaf what their plan are, but they will probably not want to tell you.
