Rent a bike without an international Driving license?

Hi guys i will backpacking alone in Yogyakarta coming next week. Is that fine if i rent a bike only with my country driving license? thx!

I don't really know, but I think its fine. or usually they will ask for another identity card.

I think in yogya the police is fine when you show them your normal driving license. However, it would be best if you get an international driving license, shouldn't take that long to get it i guess

It won't be a problem as long as you follow the regulations (mainly wear helmet and not speeding). Try to speak in English or act innocent when a police stops you, but try to be cooperative. Most of the time they will let you go :)
