This group wants to promote special places in Germany to fellow CSers travelling Germany. We want to encourage you to leave the scheme of Metropol-hooping and find out about the more rural sites in Germany, the hidden secrets and the beautiful places where there have been not too many others. Fell free to submit any place you encountered and want to share with others! Describe it, add soem links, tell us what happened there. This page is not for the Oktoberfest and not for mUnich or Berlin. It is for the Weinfest in Rheinland-Pfalz and the Folk-Fest in Rudolstadt, towns like Trier, Lüneburg, Görlitz or Meissen. So if you want to contribute anything. PLEASE DO SO!

Hallo zusammen!

Ich komme aus Bremerhaven und werde Ende des Monats ein paar Ausflüge in Richtung Lüneburger Heide und Harz machen. Ich bin relativ neu in der CS-Community und würde gerne andere Leute kennenlernen, sei es bei einem kurzen Plausch bei einer Tasse Kaffee, beim gemeinsamen Wandern oder bei einer Übernachtung bei jemandem zu Hause.

Meine Interessen sind Geschichte (Architektur, Ruinen, Museen...), Natur (Wälder, Berge, Moore, je wilder, desto besser), Brettspiele, Drohnen fliegen, Philosophie, Kochen und vieles mehr... Ich glaube also, dass es einige Themen für Gespräche geben wird :)

Ich reise mit dem Auto und bin total flexibel, wenn also jemand Interesse an einem Treffen hat oder vielleicht sogar Vorschläge hat, würde ich mich über jede Gelegenheit freuen!

Seeking locals to discuss refugee crisis

Hi, my name is Aline and I'm a graduate student at Harvard studying international education policy. Next weekend, (10. Dec. - 17. Dec.), a university partner and I will be in Hamburg and Berlin to collect information on refugee access to schooling in Germany.
