Best Cassoulet in Toulouse?
It was impressed upon me that i must have Cassoulet before I head back to the states. So, where is the best Cassoulet in toulouse? And, would you like to come with me :3

if you intend to have cassoulet at lunch (wise decision regarding the fact that this is a heavy dish), i advise you the restaurants above the victor hugo market. There is a side entrance that takes you upstairs and you will encounter a secret place that gives the impression is made only for local people. It is worth to at least pass by.
Haven't tried any (not a big fan of Cassoulet :p) but I know there's a restaurant called "La maison du Cassoulet" (the house of cassoulet), it's located in the street called Peyrollières, 2min walk from Capitole.
For how long are you still around ? On tuesday I play a live gig/jam session just very close to this cassoulet place! the restaurant I play in is called La Petite Gouaille, so if you wanna come over and meet up and have a few beers after your cassoulet (if your belly can tolerate that :p) you're very welcome !
Julien is talking about "La Cave du cassoulet", rue Peyrolière. And he is right, this is one of the best place. Otherwise you have the "Restaurant Emile", place Saint George. It's very good but much more expensive.
The "Maison du cassoulet" is an other restaurant close to the center and it is not as good as "La cave" or "Emile".
I confirm : "La Cave du Cassoulet", rue Peyrolière. Dont go to La Maison du Cassoulet in the boulevard. I am vegan but i had to go with several couchsurfers into this nice restaurant "La Cave du Cassoulet". The team is kind and it is cheap for a real cassoulet. The room is a typical tolosan cave.
The best one is definitively the one from "Emile" but quite expensive (something between 25 and 30 euros)
