Looking for a cultural exchange with French nationals who are interested in the Indian culture & food..
Hi,
I'm an Indian who has recently moved to Paris (3 months now). I'm looking to meet up with French and other nationals who have an interest in India - it's culture, food, traditions etc - for a cultural exchange. The purpose is to help others to understand and manage their way through the complexities of Indian culture and it's people, while at the same time getting help to understand the French culture better so that I can assimilate better and faster. I want to be an instrument in breaking down other people's stereotypes about my country, as well as breaking down my own stereotypes about theirs.
This would be achieved through meetings, discussions, watching movies together, sharing food (either cooking at home or going out to restaurants or a mix of both), sharing recipes (and learning how to cook and appreciate each other's food) and to understand the nuances.
Other nationalities are welcome too.
