Hi everyone! Let’s explore the city with a fun and scenic bike ride along the Lake Front Trail. We’ll make regular stops along this ride to take in good weather, enjoy the lake, and catch breathtaking views of our city. This ride will start in the city center and end at a street fest in Ravenswood (free event). If you don’t have a bike, please see bike rental options below. Meeting point: Buckingham Fountain at 12pm. We'll start the ride at 12:20 to allow for stragglers and late comers to join us. We'll ride from the Buckingham Fountain to Ravenswood (Addresses below). We’ll keep a slow but steady pace; about 9-11 mph ride. Aiming to be in Ravenswood by 2pm. I’d be happy to extend the ride and event for anyone that would like to keep riding and exploring the city. I will keep an eye on the weather forecast prior to the start of this event. Alternative hangout options in the works in case of bad weather. TBD.
