Do you may know people who don’t speak German (quite a few in Bonn) or travellers? That’s why I thought we (Marius, German, and Anna, Spanish) could organize an event in English for all guests to watch the parade in Cologne.
Bring your international friends, costumes, and drinks, and let’s have a good time. Germans are more than welcome too—let’s just try to speak English most of the time so everyone can follow along ;)
The Cologne parade is one of the biggest and busiest carnival parades in Germany:12,500 participants and 300 tons of sweets!
It starts really early, around 10:00, so we’ll probably need to leave Bonn Central Station around 9:00–10:00. I’ll confirm the exact meeting time closer to the date.
What you need:
-A costume!
-Good vibes
-A train ticket
-Alcoholic drinks (no glass bottles), or be okay with the fact that people tend to drink a lot more than usual at this time and be tipsy
