Please come and enjoy the traditional folk festival.
The Haeundae Dalmaji Oncheon Festival is a traditional folk festival held at Haeundae Beach to celebrate Jeongwol Daeboreum, the first full moon of the lunar year. The festival includes events such as Daljip Taeugi (burning a large wooden structure to make wishes), Ganggangsullae (a traditional circle dance - I am one of the members who are joining this dance.), street parades, and wish-writing activities. It is a meaningful celebration where people pray for good health, good fortune, and prosperity in the new year.
