I will be going to the National Folk Fest. The event is in Canberra over 5 days and I will be travelling from Sydney .
The Festival has 0ver 350 events including family-friendly fun, circus, and forums—there’s something for everyone. Whether you’re passionate about music, dance, spoken word, or connecting with a vibrant community.
I just registered to volunteer for the event and this usually means 20hrs work in exchange for the festival ticket and camping spot. BYO tent etc.
There are still volunteer spots vacant if you want to volunteer , otherwise you can just purchase a festival ticket .

I have not worked out my transport but will likely rent a car and we can share the cost if we have an extra 1-3 persons .
If I am solo I will probably just get the bus from Sydney to Canberra
