This is one of Italy’s most important national holidays, celebrating the birth of the Republic. The highlight is the spectacular military parade along Via dei Fori Imperiali, near the Colosseum, starting around 10:00 AM. Expect a grand display of Italian Armed Forces, historic regiments, military bands, and even a flyover by the Frecce Tricolori, the national aerobatic team, painting the sky in green, white, and red!
