We've never been to this city before, but the Mirador de la Providencia looks amazing: spectacular sea views, plenty of space to spread out, and (hopefully!) one of the best spots to experience an event we probably won't see again for decades. Schedule: 18:00 > Meet at the mirador and settle in 19:31 > Partial eclipse begins 20:27 > Maximum eclipse (1 min 46 sec) 21:20 > Partial eclipse ends Bring a blanket if you have one, your picnic, and whatever you'd like to share. Vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, homemade, supermarket snacks, alcohol, no alcohol… it's all welcome. The only essential thing is certified solar eclipse glasses for safety. Let's enjoy good food, great company, and one of nature's most spectacular shows together. And if the clouds decide to photobomb the eclipse… at least we'll still have the picnic.
