!!! I cannot host until mid-October because I will not be in Bucharest! Hi, guys. I was just introduced to Couchsurfing by a really close friend with whom I travel a lot, and it looks like an amazing community. I'm an emerging theatre maker passionate about getting to know people and listening to their stories. As a Ph.D. student, I travel often to see performances or participate in other cultural events; therefore, I would love to invite my host along anytime it's possible. If not, I would be more than happy to cook a meal (there are some romanian dishes that are definitely worth sharing), help with things around the house, practice new languages while sharing mine, have a nice long chat, or go out. If you are going through a busy period and cannot hang out much, it's also fine; I am highly independent, and I can go explore the city by myself. I am starting this journey with a lot of curiosity and the hope that I will get to experience a more authentic way to travel. If you show me your favorite bookstores, independent cinemas, the underground art scene, and other hidden gems of your city, there is a high chance that it will be the beginning of a beautiful friendship. In return, I promise to do the same for my guests. P.S. I am definitely not interested in using this platform as a dating app, and I cannot stress enough about safety, so please let's stay kind and respectful with each other.
