CURRENT MISSION Collecting stories, not just destinations. 🌍 Trying to see as much of the world as I can, eat as much local food as possible, meet interesting people along the way, and eventually be able to look at a place on the map and say, “Oh yeah… I have a story from there.” 😄 ABOUT ME Hi! I’m Sourav, an architect and interior & landscape designer from Surat, India. Travel has always been more than just visiting new places for me. I love seeing how people live, what they eat, what they believe in, and all those little everyday things that you don't really get to experience as a tourist. And of course, being an architect gives me an extra excuse to wander around looking at buildings, streets, old neighbourhoods and anything interesting I can find. I’m pretty easygoing, friendly and usually up for a good conversation, a random plan, trying some local food or simply walking around and discovering a place together. I enjoy meeting people from completely different backgrounds and hearing their stories. Some of my best travel memories have had very little to do with the actual tourist attractions and much more to do with the people I met along the way. I also believe that a place becomes much more interesting when you see it through the eyes of someone who actually lives there. So if you're willing to show me your favourite local food joint, hidden corner, crazy street market or just your favourite place to sit and chill, I'm in! I can be quite talkative and silly with the right people, but I’m equally happy sitting somewhere with a cup of coffee and having a random deep conversation about life. As for the rest… well, you’ll have to meet me and find out.

After a series of guests and several requests, I give notice to travelers: I do not accept men, couples, couples of mother with children, animals, priests, nuns. All forms of religion and political beliefs are welcome. My house is not a hotel, do not ask if I have a private room for you with bed and bathroom only at your disposal. I'm not a personal driver and I hate smoke and in my house you are without shoes. For everything else, you are welcome.
