We are a small family, living 2 minutes near Taj Mahal. We like to welcome travelers to know and exchange new cultures. This is a couchsurfing house but in order to improve our life, we carry out several business, if you wish or need any of our services, you are welcome to ask. But don’t take it as a must. We welcome you to visit our rooftop coffee & restaurant with the view of Taj Mahal with local prices. I am a Travel agent,& money change so I can give you recommendations about what local places you shouldn’t miss. And if you need, I can help you to organize your visit to markets and temples and The best hours to go to Taj Mahal. Or if you need to I can book tickets for any transport you need, as well. If you’re looking for silver, quartz, or anything, you can also visit our hand made jewelry shop. But if you wish, some henna designs as the India tradition, my wife Kajal, is a good artist on that. You can also get the Indian Masala spice back home, my wife can grinder at home and mix the 25 spices that are needed. But if you’re more in the indian chef mood, book your Indian food class and learn to prepare the traditional dishes! I’m pretty easygoing, curious by nature and I genuinely enjoy meeting people from completely different parts of the world. I love hearing people’s stories, discovering different cultures, trying new food, long drives, music, movies, random plans and conversations that somehow start with “Where are you from?” and end three hours later talking about life. I also have a good, comfortable place where I can host travellers, so if you’re passing through, you’re more than welcome to stay when I’m able to host. I’d much rather have someone feel like they’re staying with a friend than feel like they’re checking into a hotel. And if you’re in Agra, I’m happy to take you beyond the usual tourist checklist.. local markets, food spots, neighbourhoods, chai places, random drives, and whatever else we end up discovering along the way. 😄 I don’t believe you need a perfect itinerary either. Some of my favourite experiences are the ones that happen because someone simply said, “Let’s go.” What I really love about CS is that you can meet someone who grew up thousands of kilometres away and, within a few hours, realise you actually have a lot more in common than you expected. Maybe we’ll explore the city, maybe we’ll eat something questionable, maybe we’ll stay up talking about absolutely everything, or maybe we’ll just have a coffee and exchange stories before you continue your journey.
