NOTE❤️: I am currently travelling through west Africa and West Asia and I won’t be able to host anyone till summer. Quirky gal from the Mediterranean! I love meeting new people, having new experiences, and trying new foods. I plan on going to med school in a year. I’m super excited to host and laugh it up with people from all over the world. I live in a spacious apartment in the city, a 10 minute walk from the subway. I also utilise public transportation and am able to walk anywhere in the city within around 30 minutes. The beautiful Mount Etna is a pretty big deal around here, you can hike, run or mountain bike there; a pretty wonderful experience. Let alone the sea! You can easily rent a car and visit all the cute little towns in Sicily, the beaches are amazing and the people are delightful. I live with my mom - as well my little brother, he’s 8 and I suggest you try to get on his good side and he’s gonna be the sweetest - she’s great, super friendly, and will chat you up forever, as well as make amazing Italian and international dishes for you! We appreciate clean and respectful people, and are interested in getting to know you and your traditions, typical foods and holidays. We are open to hosting smokers but as ours is a non-smoking household we do ask that you do not smoke in our home. Our house can be messy at times but it’s filled with love and we are so excited to meet you!

Ciao! I am a guy from Sicily, now living in Catania. I lived in Piedmont and Emilia Romagna before coming back here. I am an industrial and environmental chemist, but now work in the health, safety and environment field; I am very passionate about the environment and its safeguard. In the last year, in my free time and holidays, I have started travelling and exploring places in Europe. Hopefully I will be able to go further than that next year! Hosting during the workweek may be hard for me but I can do my best to host anyone in need. If not too tired I can hangout in the city or just share some time together cooking or chatting. I can always come pick up guest from Fontanarossa train station after work (around 17:00) and drop the there in the morning before going to work (7:30); I can be flexible. During the weekend I like to roadtrip and explore new places of Sicily with guests. Usually I am up for hanging out, spontaneous trips and whatever suits the mood; other times I may not be so present but anyone is welcome to stay anyway.
