And I want to make sure there is some chance of connection between host and surfer. I'm working in a day-care centre for people with disabilities and I love my job :) Recently I enrolled to university again, in order to achieve a bachelor degree in social work. The studies are mostly self-organised. Every now and then, however, I'll be in Berlin for some classes. +++ currently in Central Asia to learn Russian +++ Hallo, hi, hola, oi, salut and привет! I'm Frans, originally from Heidelberg in south-west Germany. I worked as a volunteer in Ecuador for a year in 2012/2013, which made me connect deeply with Latin America. Not feeling like staying in the same place yet, I started working as a flight attendant flying all kinds of routes out of my base of Vienna, Austria. Two years later, I came back to planet Earth for my university studies in Cologne/Köln. In this context, I spent eight months in Brazil: first for a semester abroad in Belo Horizonte, followed by an internship in Recife. Back in Germany, a new job in aviation – this time on the ground, but no less exciting and entertaining – took me to Leipzig which has been my home for four years now. Meanwhile, my friends are pretty much spread out over the entire world and they are more welcome than ever to visit me at my base. Obviously, this includes you as well – the friends I don't even know yet. I am a very curious person and always especially interested in everything new concerning knowledge of languages, history, cultures... This applies to food too! For every host or surfer who is going to cook for us: absolutely no worries about what I might not eat. I bet I will! (That being said, offering to cook is no prerequisite for being hosted by me. Let's rather be honest about our strengths and weaknesses. ;))
Laughing and making people feel welcomed is not going to cost us anything, so this is my aim, to be nice without return.
