Originally from Iran, I now call Germany home. used to be a ecotourguide in Iran and working as an engineer in Germany. My passion for travel was truly ignited back in Iran. I am open to experience new things and travel give me the chance to fulfill this thirst.
Hey there! I’m a passionate traveler who’s been lucky enough to explore 32 amazing countries (and counting). I love immersing myself in new cultures, meeting people from all walks of life, and sharing stories over good food. Whether it’s wandering through hidden alleys, tasting local street food, or just having a meaningful conversation with a fellow traveler, I’m always up for an adventure. I believe travel is more about the people you meet than the places you go. Couchsurfing has been a great way for me to connect, learn, and create unforgettable memories. I'm easy-going, respectful, and always curious to learn something new. Looking forward to meeting you—let’s share stories, laughs, and maybe even a meal!
I solo budget travel and like meeting new and different people! In general I am down to do anything. A friend recommended this app so I thought giving it a try can't hurt.
Just starting to travel! I make videos for instagram and tiktok, super easy!

I am very positive, open minded and curious person. :)
Hiii there :) I have many names, but you can start calling me ¡Maya! I grew up in Madrid (Spain) and I'm currently studying Performance and Visual Arts in Braunschweig (Germany). I love Art, Nature, the Body, DANCING! I'm an open minded, curious, creative, flexible, easy-going, enthusiastic, caring, heart-warming person :) Fun fact: My bike is pink and red and I unapologetically love this color combination.
Human being - get to know me and us better by writing or meeting.
MISSION Travelling with my family Loving life Being together ABOUT ME I am an active and interested person but I like also calm moments with good conversations. As I don't want to associate new places only with tourist attractions but with personal encounters and faces, I am a member of CS! PHILOSOPHY It is so easy to share what you have and to help your neighbour so that the world improves ! You only need to be a bit outward-looking.
Yo! I've travelled for some years, couchsurfed a lot. Recently I've settled in Braunschweig, Germany. Hit me up, you're welcome to my place. I don't check CS app that often, so for last minute requests kindly write me on whatsapp (+4369918207067).
ABOUT ME I'm 26 and my name is Simon. At the moment I study Business IT in Braunschweig. I really like the freedom of being a student and try to make my time as interesting as possible. I really enjoy talking, diskussing and exchanging opinions with people about religion, Politics, ethics, philosophy, and, and, and ... PHILOSOPHY I life my life to have fun. Not to get wastet, but to be happy :) And of course its important to care about your Future, so you can be happy if you are older too.
Let me start with the most important things to know for possible hosts and guests: I am quite organized, I like to help with household and cleaning the dishes after meals and I like to hang out with you if you have time, and if not, I am also fine with that. I would love to prepare a dinner or lunch for you, but I obviously accept if you don't want Couchsurfers to use the kitchen. I am not really a party guy, I prefer quieter, more relaxed environments and not going to bed too late. I prefer board games over video games, hanging out in a park with friends over going to the pub or club, and having in-person conversations over chatting on the phone. What follows now is stuff about myself that is not absolutely necessary for you to know as a host nor guest, but you can read it if you are curious about who I am. I honestly don't like traveling. I like experiencing culture, I like to spend time in different places, but I prefer to be a person temporarily living in a new place rather than a tourist. I don't enjoy the speed of life that comes with being a tourist. I don't want my travelling experiences to be exhausting, or at least not more exhausting than living a normal life at home would be. When traveling, I want to keep the normal, healthy day to day pace that the people have that live in the place where I am traveling to. I prefer to see myself as a citizen of the world rather than Germany. I don't say that because I have traveled a lot, I haven't, or to sound dramatic, but because I think too strong identities toward the country (or region) you were born in might create division. Culture is of course influencing people's lives, I just think the fact that I grew up on this planet has a way bigger influence on my life than the fact that I grew up in Germany. One thing I don't like is when people spend too much time on their phone when they are with you. It's not possible to have a conversation. Checking your phone every now and then is ok, but I think it's impossible to have a normal conversation when people don't give each other their undivided attention. So you can expect my undivided attention when I am with you :].
Hi everybody, I am new to Couchsurfing and I am looking forward to use it for the first time when I am travelling to Portugal from May 23rd until June 4th. I plan on visiting as much of the country as possible starting out in Faro. I graduated high school in 2018 and went straight to college to study "engineering and management" (I don´t know if this is the proper translation :D). This March - after one semester - I realized that it wasn´t for me, so now I have some free time to spent until October, when I will start to study something else. (I don´t know what yet ;D) In my spare time I like to do - and watch - a lot of sports, especially Basketball. I also love to just be outside and do cycling or hiking for example.
