Faire le tour du jour en 80 mondes… Je suis originaire de Mendoza, en Argentine, au cœur de la région de Cuyo, terre du vin et de l'Aconcagua, le plus haut sommet de la cordillère des Andes. Depuis quatre ans, je vis à Rennes, en Bretagne. Je porte en moi cet héritage morocuyen, né du mélange des racines andines et méditerranéennes. Il m'a transmis le goût de l'hospitalité, des tables partagées et des petites douceurs du quotidien. J'ai étudié la langue et la littérature hispano-américaines. Aujourd'hui, j'oriente progressivement mon parcours vers les lettres et la musique, deux univers qui occupent une place importante dans ma vie. Avec une amie, nous développons une maison d'édition qui réunit mes passions pour la traduction, la rédaction et la correction éditoriale. En parallèle, je suis mélomane, passionnée de radio. Je chante, je joue de la guitare et je pratique la danse contemporaine au sein d'une association rennaise. Je crée également du contenu autour de la curation musicale, de la découverte de nouveaux artistes et de la création de playlists. Généralement optimiste, j'aime les conversations et les échanges. C'est aussi pour cela que je fais partie de la communauté Couchsurfing. À mes yeux, c'est une façon de voyager plus riche que le tourisme. Les personnes qui vivent quelque part transmettent toujours un regard singulier sur leur ville, leurs habitudes, leur culture et leurs lieux préférés. Je crois que le voyage est intimement lié à la lecture et à la musique J'apprécie aussi l'esprit de solidarité qui anime cette communauté. Hoy estoy orientando mi camino hacia las letras y la música, dos universos que ocupan un lugar importante en mi vida. Junto a una amiga estamos desarrollando un proyecto de editorial independiente que reúne mis pasiones por la traducción, la escritura y la corrección editorial. paralelamente soy melómana, apasionada por la radio, canto, toco la guitarra y practico danza contemporánea en una asociación de Rennes. Además, creo contenido dedicado a la curaduría musical, el descubrimiento de nuevos artistas y la creación de playlists. Generalmente soy optimista y disfruto muchísimo de las conversaciones y los intercambios. Por eso también formo parte de la comunidad de Couchsurfing. La considero una manera de viajar mucho más rica que el turismo. Quienes viven un lugar siempre pueden transmitir una mirada única sobre su ciudad, sus costumbres, su cultura Creo que viajar está profundamente ligado a la lectura y a la música También valoro mucho el espíritu de solidaridad que caracteriza a esta comunidad. Update May 2026: We are finally taking a long break in the form of a 7-month trip to share the taste of travells with our two kids (10yo and 13yo) and pave the way for a new and open future! While our program is still in progress, we hope to take the time to get the feeling of Central Asia, Mongolia, China, Southeast Asia, and Indonesia. We have been on CS for a very long time! We would love to CS during this trip with our kids. I live with my husband and our two kids in French Brittany, working for an organisation dedicated to supporting organic farming. My husband works as a researcher in a public organisation as a GIS expert (map-making), primarily focusing on environmental issues. In a past life (but very close in our hearts), we lived abroad for 5 years: Ladakh, Mongolia, Tajikistan. I worked at an NGO specializing in agricultural and energy-related activities, while my husband was a photographer and occasionally a GIS freelancer. We are both easy-going and respectful persons, curious about others. Pierre loves thoughtful conversations about almost every topics. My younger son is fond of chess and jumping around ;)(parkour), while the oldest one builds all kind of things.

All its single moments and all its little things ABOUT ME Hi, I'm Sophie, I'm 49 years old, I'm French and few years ago I took some time off at my job, and spent one year and a half in Canada (Quebec), with a "Working Holiday Visa"... One of the best decisions I ever took in my life !!! And I discovered Couchsurfing there ! I came to Montreal because I already had some friends here and I wanted to live a little bit here, more than for simple holidays, always too short to really know a place and people who live there... After I came back as a tourist because I wanted to enjoy the summer and all festivals in Montréal and also traveled a few weeks, so I did volunteering for many events and wwoofing, before coming back to Paris about ten years ago. I'm back to work then (I'm an employment counselor and I took a sabbatical year) now living in Rennes, wonderful Brittany, and I look forward to the next travels... So I hope to do it again, and to live many other times this beautiful experience in another part of the world. I love travelling, I'm quite simple, pretty talkative I think :-) love laugh and being with my friends, enjoy life, good food, meet new people and talk... Very simple things actually ! According to my friends I'm easy-going and open-minded. So I think Couchsurfing is very good to meet some locals from the places we want to visit, and talk with them to see these places in a different way, and see the countries through their eyes... This concept is such a great idea !!! I love visiting new places, but Quebec and Italy do (and will always) have a special place in my heart, and I try to go back there as often as I can, to visit friends !
