My name is Sayasith and I’m from Le Havre, France. After several wonderful years dedicated to my family and a major personal turning point with my separation, I now feel a strong need to travel again but in a different way. I’m looking for real connections, meaningful conversations, and more human experiences than those offered by hotels, hostels, or platforms like AirBnB. I first discovered Couchsurfing in 2009 during a big trip to Japan, and that experience deeply impacted me. Since then, I’ve traveled in North America, Europe, and North Africa, and I’ve hosted several travelers in my home back when I was in a couple without kids. Today, I’m coming back to this platform with the desire to find again that spirit of sharing and trust that I loved so much.
