I live in the center of Bordeaux. Although I can't host right now, i'd be happy to show you around the city and to share my favorite local spots. Especially if they involve food and wine. I'm interested in learning about cultural differences and hearing great stories.

Currently we are hosting a friend for a while and we live in a small apartment, so we can't host anyone else at the moment.(Why did CS remove the "not accepting guests" function?!) ****** I'm a carioca engineer, trying to figure out my way in this amazing but chaotic world that we live in. Some years ago I was unhappy with the direction my life was taking, so I decided to start anew by hitchhiking around Brazil to learn more about it, to rethink my life and beliefs, and to understand a little more about myself and the world. I believe in our ability to be better and to do better and hope that, someday, people accept how small we are and that all we have is each other and our lives, so let's work together to make the best out of the little time we have. If you are conservative/regressive I'll ask politely to not waste my time, I don't have patience for people who attack women and minorities(or any kind of "other") or that think guaranteeing people's bare necessities is asking to much. I identify as an anarchist and as an eco-feminist, I love a good debate as long as it's well meaning and both parties are willing to listen and to learn from each other. I've travelled a bit but I hope to see much more of the world in the future, I recently graduated and left my home city where I used to host(Rio de Janeiro). I've been living in France with my partner for over a year now and although and I'm still adapting and learning the language, we're making some progress and now we can occasionally host and we hope to travel more.
Nous sommes 1 couple (Edwige et Eric) avec 1 fille (Velouria) vivant à Bègles prés de Bordeaux. Nous ne sommes pas de grands voyageurs mais pour ne pas nous scléroser chez nous, satisfaire notre curiosité et garder l’esprit l’ouvert, nous nous sommes dit : "à défaut d’aller dans le monde, recevons le donc chez nous ". Quelques informations supplémentaires : 2 à 3 nuits par séjour Géographiquement, par rapport à Bordeaux, il y a le tramway, le bus et une station de vélo à moins de 500 m. La gare est en accès direct via le tramway. Pour les marcheurs, compter environ 40 mn pour arriver au centre de Bordeaux. Additional information: 2 to 3 nights per stay Geographically, to access Bordeaux, there are trams, buses, and a bike station less than 500 meters away. The train station is directly accessible via the tram. For walkers, it takes about 40 minutes to reach the center of Bordeaux. We live in a house with a garden, isolated from city noise.
