Hi my name is Cody. I’m a Korean American who has moved across the US and abroad for most of my adult life. Prior to moving to Korea, I lived in Australia, Qatar, England, and Africa. Aside from traveling, I really enjoy ice hockey and sports, fitness, camping, hiking, and being outdoors. I am outgoing and enjoy exploring, meeting new people, trying new things, and socializing over a drink or two. I believe there’s a lot we can learn from others, and I enjoy hearing people’s stories. I am continuously surprised by the kindness and extraordinary personalities of strangers. I also do personal financial planning on the side, and did my undergrad and grad studies in behavioral science and international relations, respectively. If you like nerding out on things like finances, movies, board games, card games, or trivia, then I think we'll get along well. Oppositely, if you're a fitness and outdoors fan, I like to workout very frequently and go on hikes/trips or explore when and where possible.

I’m Megan, a mid-20s college student studying graphic design, living in Montgomery, AL. I’ve been married to Elijah for 6 years, we have two cats, Rilla and Addie, and a dog, Cara. I teach piano and do photography on the side. In 2017 I participated in some school trips and completed a study abroad to England and discovered I love exploring. During the summer of 2018 I built a bed in the back of my CRV and did a solo six-week road trip up the east coast from Georgia to Prince Edward Island. CURRENT MISSION To live an interesting and memorable life wherever I may be ABOUT ME I'm an American original who spent a quiet childhood in the American Pacific NW, plunged into San Francisco and teaching in a black school during the summers of love, went from being intensely into radical politics in the teacher's union to a "radical" and persecuted spiritual movement. I served as a volunteer worker in the movement over the next 20 years across America. In 1991, I chose to relocate to Moscow when I had the opportunity and soon found myself sought after as a native-speaking English teacher. I never expected to still be there 23 years later but I do feel what I have done is valuable. Now I've shifted gears, slowing down some, married and moved to the American South. I continue teaching and editing online part-time but am semi-retired. I returned to the U.S. in December 2014 to begin the next chapter of my non- hum-drum life. I find that each decade of my life just gets better. I'm a realistic optimist who truly loves people, enjoys singing and laughing (especially with children), but has a serious, thoughtful side and thrives on beautiful art and design, great ideas and books, and can spend hours in museums and unique little shops. PHILOSOPHY Life is meant to be lived and to be shared. The most meaningful thing we can do is to serve and lift up each other. The world is ripe to be changed with sincere, unselfish love!
